【摘要】:Thisguidedescribesaprocedureforplacingawatertriple-pointcellinserviceandforusingitasareferencetemperatureinthermometercalibration.Thereferencetemperatureattainedisthatofafundamentalstateofpurewater,theequilibriumbetweencoexistingsolid,liquid,andvaporphases.Thecellissubjecttoqualificationbutnottocalibration.Thecellmaybequalifiedascapableofrepresentingthefundamentalstate(see4.2)bycomparisonwithabankofsimilarqualifiedcellsofknownhistory,anditmaybesoqualifiedandthequalificationdocumentedbyitsmanufacturer.Thetemperaturetobeattributedtoaqualifiedwatertriple-pointcellisexactly273.16KontheITS-90.Continuedaccuracyofaqualifiedcelldependsuponsustainedphysicalintegrity.ThismaybeverifiedbytechniquesdescribedinSection6.Thecommerciallyavailabletriplepointofwatercellsdescribedinthisstandardarecapableofachievinganexpandeduncertainty(k=2)ofbetweenx00B1;0.1mKandx00B1;0.05mK,dependinguponthemethodofpreparation.Specifiedmeasurementproceduresshallbefollowedtoachievetheselevelsofuncertainty.1.1Thisguidecoversthenatureoftwocommercialwatertriple-pointcells(typesAandB,seeFig.1)andprovidesamethodforpreparingthecelltorealizethewatertriple-pointandcalibratethermometers.Testsforassuringtheintegrityofaqualifiedcellandofcellsyettobequalifiedaregiven.Precautionsforhandlingthecelltoavoidbreakagearealsodescribed.1.2Theeffectofhydrostaticpressureonthetemperatureofawatertriple-pointcellisdiscussed.1.3ProceduresforadjustingtheobservedSPRTresistancereadingsfortheeffectsofself-heatingandhydrostaticpressurearedescribedinAppendixX1andAppendixX2.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
